420bhp is not anything special. With how the R8 looks, it should be doing sub-4 second 60 times with over 500bhp. It's like putting a 6-cylinder in a Diablo. Styling is the only thing the R8 really has. By your logic, the NSX is great because it's a high-reving mid-mounted engine in a stylish package... doesn't matter that it underperforms for the cost.
